so ante natal. thats fun. who knew there were so many lovely words associated with being pregnant. 'plug' 'show' 'tear'. and then there's the superlatively-over-the-top-birthing-is-the-most-amazing-experience-in-the-world-let-me-know-if-you-want-me-to-come-video-yours ante natal lady. It's all Kimmie and I can do to keep a straight face for most of the class. When she started simulating the moo'ing sounds many women make, it just about caused me to fall off my chair in mirth. Watching a birthing video from the 1980's was definitely the highlight of my week. i wonder if they deliberately made it from those times with 'that hair' to distract you from the subject matter...?
my belly button is slowly but surely disappearing. that belly ring piercing is starting to look just lovely now i can actually see it. Talking of seeing. Can't see much more than my belly at the moment. i can still just see my toes however. Happy days! In honour of this I think i might just get me a pedicure this weekend. I may as well make them look pretty for the length of time left that i can see them.
Bought a swiss ball. Supposed to be good to sit on to strengthen my back muscles which are under attack from the porridge-filled balloon on my front. Hmmm. I seem to recall another piece of advice being that your sense of balance leaves you when pregnant. Surely combining these two gems isnt the best idea for someone so clutzy?
Bubs gave the midwife a swift kick when she was listening to her heartbeat today. Thatta girl! Manners schmanners.
